Overview
Executive Summary
Green Fort 2 has authorised vehicles, visitors and people on foot passing through its entrances every day. In 2019, ASG Systems Pakistan installed a complete entrance package: e-tag access for authorised vehicles, a separate visitor lane, tripod turnstiles for pedestrians and visitor management software.
Authorised vehicles pass through quickly, while visitors are checked and recorded, giving the site both convenience and control.
The brief
The Challenge
A busy site has to let authorised vehicles in without delay, yet know who else is entering.
- Stopping every vehicle for a manual check slows regular traffic.
- Visitors needed to be checked without holding up authorised vehicles.
- Pedestrian entry needed the same control as vehicle entry.
- Security needed a reliable, searchable record of visitors.
What we delivered
The Solution: E-Tag, Visitor Lane, Tripods & Visitor Software
ASG Systems Pakistan gave each type of traffic its own controlled route through the entrance.
Component 01
E-Tag Vehicle Access
Authorised vehicles are identified automatically through e-tags, so they pass without stopping to show a pass.
Component 02
Visitor Lane
A dedicated visitor lane keeps guests separate from regular traffic, so security can check them without slowing authorised vehicles.
Component 03
Tripod Pedestrian Access Control
Tripod turnstiles control access for people on foot, so pedestrian entry is as managed as vehicle entry.
Component 04
Visitor Management Software
Visitor management software records who is visiting, giving security an organised, searchable record of visitors.
How we did it
Implementation Approach
- 1Survey of the entrances and traffic flow.
- 2Installation of e-tag readers and barriers for authorised vehicles.
- 3Setting up a dedicated visitor lane.
- 4Installation of tripod turnstiles for pedestrian access.
- 5Deployment of visitor management software and training for security staff.
Outcome
Results & Impact
One entrance, three kinds of traffic, each handled the right way.
- Authorised vehicles identified automatically through e-tags, with no stop for a pass check.
- Visitors handled in their own lane and recorded in software.
- Pedestrian entry brought under controlled tripod access.
- A consistent, organised approach to entry for the whole site.
