What is an electric fence security system?
An electric fence is a physical and psychological barrier that carries short, high-voltage pulses along a set of wires mounted on your boundary wall or around an open perimeter. Anyone who touches it receives a sharp but non-lethal shock, and the system raises an alarm at the same moment.
At the heart of every system is the energizer. It sends a pulse down the fence about once a second and constantly checks the voltage coming back. If a wire is cut, shorted, earthed or climbed, the energizer detects the change and triggers the alarm, sirens, strobes, lights, cameras and phone alerts connected to it.
Modern electric fencing is far more than wire on a wall. Yes, when it is installed professionally with a branded energizer. The energizer sends short, energy-limited pulses that give a painful but non-lethal shock, and warning signs are fixed along the fence. Never connect a fence directly to mains electricity.
What is the price of an electric fence in Pakistan?

Does an electric fence work during load-shedding?
Yes. The energizers we install have battery backup, so the fence stays armed and the alarm keeps working during power cuts. Solar charging options are also available for remote sites.
What is an energizer and how many joules do I need?
The energizer powers the fence and monitors it. A higher joule rating supports longer fences, more strands and more vegetation. A 2J to 4J energizer suits most homes, while larger properties and long perimeters use 5J to 8J energizers or several energizers across zones.
What is the difference between Revolt and Nemtek energizers?
The Revolt 2J is a smart energizer with built-in WiFi, remote control, SOS alert, battery backup and a waterproof design, ideal for homes. Nemtek energizers from South Africa, such as the Wizord 4J, Druid 5J and Merlin Stealth 8J, offer higher energy options, LCD displays, keypads and zone control for larger sites.
Can I control my electric fence from my phone?
Yes. With a WiFi or GSM-connected energizer you receive alarm notifications, can arm and disarm the fence and send an SOS alert from a mobile app, wherever you are.
What happens when someone cuts the wire?
The energizer detects the drop in voltage straight away and raises an alarm for that zone. The siren and strobe activate, your phone receives an alert and linked CCTV cameras can move to the zone and record.
How many strands should my wall-top fence have?
Most homes use 4 to 8 strands on top of the boundary wall, depending on wall height and risk. Free-standing fences for factories and critical sites often use 8 to 20 or more strands. We recommend the right configuration during the survey.
Can an electric fence be added to my existing wall or fence?
Yes. We install wall-top brackets on existing boundary walls and can retrofit electric strands onto existing chain-link, palisade or grille fences without rebuilding them.
