What is a guest room management system (GRMS)?
A GRMS connects everything inside a hotel room, lighting, air conditioning, curtains, door lock, DND and energy, to one smart room controller and one central platform.
When a guest checks in, the room is prepared automatically. When they open the door with a key card or mobile key, the welcome scene switches on the lights, opens the curtains and cools the room. During the stay, guests control everything from elegant bedside and entrance panels, and housekeeping sees DND and Make Up Room requests instantly. When the room is empty, it switches to eco mode by itself.

What is a guest room management system (GRMS)?
A GRMS is a system of room controllers, panels, sensors and central software that controls lighting, air conditioning, curtains, DND and Make Up Room, and connects each guest room to the front desk, housekeeping, engineering and the hotel PMS.
How much does a GRMS cost for a hotel in Pakistan?

How does GRMS save energy in a hotel?
GRMS knows when a room is sold, occupied or empty. It sets comfortable temperatures only when guests are in, switches to eco set-points and turns off lights in empty and unsold rooms, and gives managers energy reports by room and floor.
Can GRMS integrate with our hotel PMS and door locks?
Yes. GRMS can connect with hotel property management systems and door lock systems, so rooms prepare themselves at check-in, reset at check-out and report accurate occupancy. Integration options depend on your PMS and lock brand.
Can GRMS be installed in an existing hotel?
Yes. Retrofit solutions, including wireless room controllers and panels that fit standard back boxes, allow existing hotels to upgrade floor by floor with minimal disruption to guests.
What is DND and MUR in GRMS?
DND (Do Not Disturb) and MUR (Make Up Room) are guest requests set from the room panel. They light up outside the door and appear instantly on the housekeeping and front desk screens, replacing paper door hangers.
Do guests need a mobile app to use a smart room?
No. Guests use simple, clearly labelled wall and bedside panels. Mobile keys, TV control and apps are optional extras for hotels that want them.
What happens during load shedding or a network failure?
Room controllers keep working locally, so guests can still use lights, AC and curtains. With UPS and generator support, the central system also continues to run, and it resynchronises automatically when the network returns.
