Overview
Executive Summary
Sukhchain Society in Lahore needed to know who was coming in without turning its gate into a bottleneck. In 2018, ASG Systems Pakistan installed e-tag vehicle access, a visitor lane and pedestrian security at the entrance.
The result is a gate that recognises known vehicles on its own and leaves guards free to deal with visitors.
The brief
The Challenge
Manual gate checks cost time for residents and attention for guards.
- Every car was checked by hand, known or not.
- Guards had little time left for actual visitors.
- There was no separate route for guests.
- Pedestrian entry was not controlled.
What we delivered
The Solution: Automatic Entry for Known Vehicles, Checks for Everyone Else
ASG Systems Pakistan gave known vehicles, visitors and pedestrians three separate, controlled routes.
Component 01
E-Tag Vehicle Access
Registered vehicles are recognised by their e-tag and the barrier opens for them automatically.
Component 02
Visitor Lane
Visitors are directed to a lane of their own, where guards check them before letting them in.
Component 03
Pedestrian Security
A controlled entry point for people on foot completes the perimeter of the gate.
How we did it
Implementation Approach

- 2Installation of e-tag readers with barriers on the resident lane.
- 3Marking out and equipping the visitor lane.
- 4Installing pedestrian security at the gate.
- 5Handover with training for the society’s guards.
Outcome
Results & Impact
